He emphasized that, in the age of artificial intelligence (AI), LG Electronics is well-positioned to capitalize on its extensive expertise in this domain. Addressing shareholders at a meeting in Seoul, Rho Jae-cheol outlined that amid the flourishing development of AI, the company intends to concentrate on four strategic areas: robotics, refrigeration solutions, smart factories, and smart homes. These sectors represent LG Electronics' distinctive strengths and exhibit significant potential for growth. As part of its strategic blueprint, LG Electronics aims to independently manufacture robot actuators—components that constitute roughly 40% of robot production costs—thereby enhancing its business-to-business (B2B) offerings.
