Recently, the domestic notebook manufacturer Chuwi has found itself entangled in a CPU counterfeiting controversy. Two of its models, the CoreBook X and CoreBook Plus, have been uncovered for manipulating processor details. Both models utilize the older Ryzen 5 5500U processor, yet present it as the newer Ryzen 5 7430U. Furthermore, the BIOS system has been illicitly modified, resulting in detection tools displaying inaccurate information. Chuwi's response thus far has been evasive, offering no concrete solution to the fundamental problem.
