On March 12, the 2026 Appliance & Electronics World Expo (AWE2026) kicked off in Shanghai. TCL made a grand entrance with its two principal industrial divisions—industrial operations and technology—highlighting three key domains: smart terminals, semiconductor displays, and new energy photovoltaics. The company unveiled groundbreaking technologies, including SQD-Mini LED, printed OLED, and TOPCon multi-split photovoltaic modules, alongside a host of new products.
At the expo, TCL crafted the TCL PASSION LAND brand Vitality Park (a park themed around brand vitality) under the banner of 'Inspire the Passion,' delivering an all-encompassing technological experience. TCL's globally launched SQD-Mini LED flagship TV X11L boasts superior backlighting, quantum dot, and screen technologies, delivering a high color gamut, high brightness, and a sleek, modern design. Concurrently, TCL CSOT showcased the world's inaugural 28-inch printed OLED foldable portable monitor, blending portability with a large-screen viewing experience. TCL also introduced its premier OLED+ premium monitor X3A, resolving issues such as text color fringing and screen purpling, supporting high refresh rates, and featuring a lightweight, ergonomic design. Furthermore, TCL CSOT presented a range of display products tailored for diverse scenarios, including TVs, automotive displays, laptops, and mobile phones.
Guided by the principle of 'AI for Practicality,' TCL propelled AI applications in smart terminals and intelligent manufacturing, showcasing intelligent products like the Xiaolanyi P7 Ultra AI Health Air Conditioner and the Ultra-Low Temperature Dual-Magnet Freshness Preservation Refrigerator. The company also unveiled the Thunderbird Smart Living AI Glasses application, fostering the widespread integration of AR glasses. The world's first detachable AI companion robot, TCL AiMe, made its maiden appearance at the expo, offering bespoke intelligent companionship experiences.
