Apple Unveils Commission Rate Cut for China’s App Store

Apple has released an announcement revealing that, effective March 15, 2026, commission rates for iOS and iPadOS apps available on the Chinese mainland App Store will undergo adjustments. Specifically, the standard commission rate for in-app purchases and paid apps within the Apple App Store will be lowered from 30% to 25%. Additionally, the commission rate for qualifying in-app purchases under both the App Store Small Business Program and the Mini Apps Partner Program, as well as the rate for auto-renewable subscriptions beyond the first year, will see a reduction from 15% to 12%.
