According to sources familiar with the matter, Apple's upcoming foldable iPhone will come with an iOS system update that enables, for the first time, an iPad-like interface layout, supporting side-by-side app display. The device will feature an internal screen size close to that of the iPad mini and an external screen size comparable to a smaller iPhone, running the standard iOS system and capable of displaying two apps side by side. However, it will not be able to directly run existing iPad apps or support multi-window functionality like the iPad mini.
