Apple has updated its official support documentation, confirming that the new MacBook Neo has a battery cycle limit of 1000 cycles. Once this limit is reached, the battery will be considered depleted and replacement should be considered. A battery cycle refers to the consumption of 100% of the battery's total capacity, whether completed in one go or accumulated over multiple charges. The MacBook Neo features a built-in 36.5-watt-hour lithium-polymer battery, with official data indicating it can support up to 16 hours of video playback and 11 hours of wireless internet access. After reaching the 1000-cycle limit, the battery's storage capacity and endurance will significantly decline. Battery life is influenced by usage habits; if a full cycle is consumed daily, the limit will be reached in approximately 2.7 years; if 0.3 cycles are consumed daily, the limit will be reached in about nine years. This cycle limit represents one of Apple's current top-tier levels. Users can follow Apple's official steps to check the battery cycle count on their Mac.
