Data from Runto reveals that the Chinese TV market witnessed substantial transformations in February 2026. Domestic brands surged ahead, while foreign brands continued their downward trajectory. During that month, total TV shipments in the Chinese market amounted to 1.895 million units. The top eight domestic brands accounted for 1.81 million units, capturing a commanding 95.4% market share, marking a year-on-year increase of 2.7%. TCL, Hisense, and Skyworth stood out prominently among them, with TCL shipping over 400,000 units to claim the top spot. Xiaomi also saw its market share rise, while Haier achieved year-on-year growth for two consecutive months. In stark contrast, foreign brands experienced a decline in shipments, with a year-on-year decrease exceeding 10%. Domestic brands possess significant advantages in terms of technology, supply chain, and distribution channels. Meanwhile, foreign brands have been somewhat sluggish in responding to emerging technological trends. Furthermore, in 2026, TCL forged a partnership with Sony, and Skyworth teamed up with Panasonic. These collaborations are anticipated to further reshape the global TV industry landscape.
