Neolix, a Chinese autonomous delivery solutions provider, has successfully resumed its full-scale operational services in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Its cargo-laden autonomous vehicles are now back in action, traversing local public roads. The region has recently witnessed a surge in logistics pressure, attributed to the prevailing local conditions and the peak demand period during Ramadan. Since securing local licenses and road operation permits last year, Neolix has swiftly established an autonomous delivery system and is poised to embark on large-scale operations this year. Hundreds of autonomous vehicles arrived in late February, with plans for additional deliveries and deployments already in place. The company aims to deploy a staggering 10,000 units in Abu Dhabi alone this year. By 2026, Neolix envisions leveraging the Middle East as a strategic 'bridgehead,' setting up offices in multiple locations, and forging partnerships with local entities to propel its global business expansion. Presently, Neolix's autonomous vehicle operations span over 16 countries and more than 300 cities worldwide, boasting a cumulative autonomous driving mileage that surpasses 100 million kilometers.
