According to insider Kosutami, Apple’s smart home hub, the HomePad, will not be released until autumn 2026. Initially envisioned as an affordable shared tablet, it will enable users to control Home ecosystem devices through widgets. The launch date has undergone several revisions, primarily due to setbacks in the development of Siri’s capabilities. The upcoming advanced AI system is slated for release in April 2026, and its computational capabilities will be powered by an Apple foundational model trained using Google Gemini technology.
