On March 4, Samsung unveiled its latest annual flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26 series. Due to rising costs of components, including memory and semiconductors, the new device is priced NT$1,000 to NT$3,000 higher than its predecessor. Despite this price increase, Samsung aims for at least a 10% year-on-year growth in sales volume and a 25% increase in sales revenue—a strategy poised to enhance the performance of suppliers such as TSMC, TXC, and Largan Precision. Media reports indicate that pre-orders for the Galaxy S26 series in South Korea have exceeded 1.5 million units, surpassing the record set by the previous model.
