On March 4, 2026, Sony officially introduced its latest iteration of true wireless noise-cancelling earbuds, the WF-1000XM6, with an initial retail price set at 2,399 yuan. These cutting-edge earbuds feature a novel dual-core system architecture, integrating the HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN3e and the 32-Bit Integrated Processor V2, complemented by an 8-microphone configuration. Compared to their predecessors, the noise-cancelling performance has witnessed a substantial enhancement, especially in mitigating mid-to-high frequency noise. When it comes to audio quality, they have undergone meticulous tuning in collaboration with Grammy-winning mastering engineers, promising an immersive, concert-hall-like listening experience. For calls, they incorporate a low-noise microphone array, bone conduction sensors, and AI beamforming noise-cancelling technology to facilitate crystal-clear communication. In terms of wearability, the new-generation ergonomic design renders the earbuds 11% slimmer than the previous model, accompanied by a variety of noise-isolating ear tips in different sizes to cater to diverse user preferences. Regarding battery endurance, they deliver approximately 8 hours of uninterrupted playback with noise cancellation activated, and extend up to 24 hours of total playback time when used in conjunction with the charging case. Moreover, they support a range of advanced features, including wireless high-resolution audio, Digital Sound Enhancement Engine Advanced, and 360 Reality Audio. These earbuds are available in two sleek color options: Black and Platinum Silver.
