On March 3, Apple Inc. (AAPL.O) launched the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, featuring its cutting-edge M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. These two new offerings mark a monumental leap in performance, especially in the realm of artificial intelligence. The M5 Pro and M5 Max chips not only boast the world’s swiftest CPU cores but also incorporate next-gen GPUs with integrated neural accelerators, enabling higher unified memory bandwidth. When pitted against their predecessors, the AI capabilities of the new MacBook Pro models have seen a fourfold enhancement, and an eightfold improvement compared to the M1 models. The latest MacBook Pro comes in two striking color variants: Deep Space Black and Silver. Pre-orders kick off on March 4, with official sales commencing on March 11.
