Matrox has recently unveiled its LUMA Pro A380 Octal graphics card, characterized by a single-slot, single-fan, full-height design. This graphics card boasts eight miniDP 2.0 interfaces, enabling it to support the operation of four 8K displays, eight 5K displays, or four 5K displays at 120Hz with just a single card.
Powered by two Intel Arc A380E GPUs, the graphics card is equipped with 12GB of GDDR6 memory and has a total power consumption of 130W. It excels in high-density IP stream decoding, capable of processing four channels of 8K video at 60fps, sixteen channels of 4K video at 60fps, and various other video streams, all with a single card. Additionally, it supports HEVC 4:4:4 decoding, ensuring exceptional color fidelity even at low bitrates.
Users can effortlessly configure and manage multi-display setups using Matrox PowerDesk desktop management software. This graphics card is ideally suited for professional applications, including video walls, AV-over-IP systems, control rooms, and digital signage.
