As reported by Bloomberg, the sales performance of the ultra-thin Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone, which Samsung Electronics rolled out last year, has been lackluster. By August 2025, a mere 1.31 million units had been sold worldwide. This figure pales in comparison to the 12 million units of the S25 Ultra sold during the corresponding timeframe. Choi Won-jun, a top-tier executive in Samsung's mobile division, revealed that owing to the sales falling short of expectations, the company is currently deliberating whether to introduce subsequent ultra-thin models and has yet to reach a definitive decision.
