On February 26, according to the latest supply chain information, the prices of mobile phone memory and storage chips have been rising for several consecutive quarters since they bottomed out in the second half of 2024, with a further increase in early 2026. Multiple industry chain sources stated that the current procurement cost of storage chips for smartphones has increased by more than 80% year-on-year, and the upward trend has not abated. Affected by this, channel and ODM manufacturers revealed that several leading mobile phone brands, including OPPO, OnePlus, vivo, Xiaomi, iQOO, and Honor, plan to raise product prices in early March. This will be the largest-scale and most significant collective price adjustment in the mobile phone industry in the past five years. With fluctuations in memory costs, the Chinese mobile phone market may see multiple price hikes within a single year for the first time in 2026.
