On February 25, 2026, as per media reports from outlets such as Jiemian and National Business Daily, Meizu's mobile phone division has effectively ceased its operations and is anticipated to formally delist in March 2026. However, its FlymeAuto in-car system segment will continue to function autonomously, and the Meizu brand is likely to persist within the Geely ecosystem. Insiders close to Meizu disclosed that, since April 2025, the company has been struggling to settle dues with numerous suppliers, resulting in outstanding debts turning into non-performing loans. Earlier, Meizu had scrapped the launch plans for the Meizu 22 Air, attributing it to a substantial hike in memory prices that had thrown its business strategies off course. As of the time of reporting, Xingji Meizu has not issued any official response regarding this situation.
