The most recent data from the research agency Omdia reveals that Apple's iPhone shipments in Europe soared to a record high in 2025. Throughout the year, approximately 36.9 million units were shipped, marking a 6% year-on-year increase. This surge propelled Apple's market share to 27%. Amidst a 1% year-on-year decline in the overall smartphone market, Apple's performance stood out prominently. This remarkable feat was primarily attributable to strategic adjustments in its product lineup structure and a concentrated surge in demand for device upgrades. Meanwhile, Samsung maintained its position as the largest smartphone vendor in the European market in terms of shipment volume, with approximately 46.6 million units shipped throughout the year. Xiaomi secured the third spot, shipping 21.8 million units, although this represented a 1% year-on-year decrease.
