Recently, the AC332 helicopter, affectionately dubbed the "Auspicious Bird" and developed by AVIC Harbin Aircraft Industry Group, successfully concluded its high-cold envelope expansion flight tests at Genhe Airport, located in Inner Mongolia. These rigorous tests expanded the helicopter's operational range to withstand temperatures as low as minus 40℃. Throughout the testing phase, the AC332 undertook a total of 10 flight test sorties and 4 ground test sorties, encompassing 16 distinct test items. These tests thoroughly validated the helicopter's comprehensive performance capabilities under extremely frigid conditions. This significant achievement not only paves the way for model certification but also underscores the AC332's proficiency in executing a wide array of missions in high-cold regions.
