On February 21, analysts from the supply chain and industry circles confirmed that Apple’s inaugural foldable phone, the iPhone Fold, is anticipated to hit the market in autumn 2026 and has now advanced to the stage of preparation for mass production. The device features a book-like folding design akin to that of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold, measuring 9-9.5mm in thickness when folded and approximately 4.5-4.8mm when fully extended. Its body frame is crafted from titanium alloy, providing robust resistance to bending, while the hinge combines titanium alloy and stainless steel, ensuring both durability and seamless folding functionality.
