Analyst Jeff Pu has disclosed that the design blueprints for Apple's iPhone 18 Pro series are gradually taking shape. In a bid to enhance the screen-to-body ratio, Apple intends to relocate certain Face ID components beneath the OLED panel, thereby shrinking the Dynamic Island's size by roughly 35%. Simultaneously, this lineup will boast the A20 Pro chip, fabricated using TSMC's cutting-edge 2nm process, which promises substantial enhancements in both performance and energy efficiency. Regarding imaging capabilities, the 48-megapixel primary camera will incorporate variable aperture technology. For connectivity, the device will be upgraded to a next-generation N2 chip and Apple's third-generation in-house C2 modem. Furthermore, two fresh color variants—burgundy and purple—are set to be introduced.
