Renowned blogger @SmartPikachu has revealed that Xiaomi is poised to introduce a localized iteration of its Xiaomi Tag tracker specifically for the Chinese market. Concurrently, the tech giant is also gearing up for the launch of a 'ceramic smart band'. The international variant of the Xiaomi Tag is currently priced at €17.99 (equivalent to roughly RMB 147.6) per unit. It operates on a CR2032 coin cell battery, offering an impressive battery life of up to one year.
This compact device measures approximately 7.2 millimeters in thickness and is constructed from durable plastic. It seamlessly integrates with Apple's 'Find My' network and Google's Find Hub services, facilitating effortless location tracking. Utilizing Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC technologies, the Xiaomi Tag enables precise positioning. However, it's worth noting that this particular model does not incorporate Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology at present.
