A group of post-95 students at Huazhong University of Science and Technology have successfully engineered the world's inaugural automatic cruise robot tailored for soft-surface cleaning, aptly named 'Miaowei.' This innovation effectively tackles the longstanding difficulties associated with cleaning soft surfaces. The robot is designed to clean bed surfaces in a stable manner, eliminating the risk of falling. Impressively, it boasts an official mite removal rate of 100% and a sterilization rate that surpasses 99.99%. Since its debut in 2024, 'Miaowei' has swiftly captured the market's attention, amassing monthly sales on Tmall that exceed one million yuan and securing overseas orders totaling over ten million yuan, with its reach extending to 38 countries across the globe. The robot is underpinned by 18 core patents and boasts a monthly production capacity of 60,000 units.
