Recently, netizens have reported an incident where a SF Fengyi delivery drone experienced a crash landing in Guanhuyuan, within the Guanlan Subdistrict of Longhua District, Shenzhen. Based on photos taken at the scene, it appears that the drone executed an emergency landing with its parachute deployed. Remarkably, the fuselage sustained minimal damage, remaining largely intact without any severe impact. The drone model involved in this incident is the Ark 80, developed by SF's subsidiary, Fengyi Technology. This particular model boasts a maximum takeoff weight of 120 kilograms and a cruise speed of 90 kilometers per hour. Additionally, it is equipped with a spacious 144-liter cargo hold, designed to accommodate various delivery items. Fortunately, the incident did not result in any casualties, and the specific cause of the crash is currently under investigation. This occurrence has sparked widespread public concern regarding the safety of drones, particularly in urban areas. It has also underscored the dual challenges that low-altitude logistics flights face, balancing the need for development with ensuring safety.
