On February 4, 2026, Huawei initiated the rollout of the HarmonyOS 6.0.0.130 SP13 version update for the MateBook Pro, featuring a system package size of roughly 750.76MB. This update is designed to refine the user experience and interface display under specific conditions. It integrates the security patch from February 2026, bolstering system stability and performance. Additionally, it introduces enhanced support for keyboard and mouse control modes across a wider range of games.

In the File Manager, a previous issue causing garbled file names in certain situations has been rectified. Similarly, the Xiaoyi feature has addressed a bug that led to errors during file exports. Following the update, users will notice that the processor information is now displayed as HUAWEI Kirin X90 in the system interface.

Huawei advises users to back up their data prior to initiating the update. It's important to note that the device may exhibit temporary overheating or increased power consumption immediately after the update, which is a normal occurrence and should subside within 2 to 3 days.
