As per a report from South Korean media outlet The Elec, Apple is gearing up to unveil its inaugural batch of MacBook Pro models featuring OLED displays in the fourth quarter of 2026. This move represents a substantial leap forward in display technology for the Mac lineup. Samsung Display is slated to kick off mass production of eighth-generation OLED panels in May this year, with intentions to furnish Apple with roughly 2 million display panels by year's end, specifically for the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro variants.
