Three models from the Samsung Galaxy S26 series have successfully obtained certification from the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC). These phones are set to make their debut in the U.S. market, available in both carrier-locked and factory-unlocked variants.
The U.S. versions of the Galaxy S26 series will be powered by the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. They will boast a range of advanced technologies, including satellite communication capabilities, compatibility with 2G to 5G cellular networks, and support for Wi-Fi 7.
It's anticipated that Skylo will be the provider of satellite calling and messaging services for these devices. However, it's important to note that these satellite-related features will only be accessible in certain countries and regions.
In addition to the above, the series also incorporates other useful functions such as Bluetooth Low Energy and NFC (Near Field Communication).
Based on information from multiple credible sources, the official announcement of the Galaxy S26 series is expected to take place on February 25, with the phones going on sale to the public on March 11. Moreover, Samsung has already begun promoting its innovative 'Privacy Display' technology.
