A well-informed blogger has disclosed that the cumulative number of iPhone Air units activated has not yet reached 200,000, with actual sales figures falling short of initial projections. In stark contrast, various models within the iPhone 17 series have demonstrated robust activation volumes. In a bid to spur sales, Apple has decided to promote the iPhone Air during the 'Tmall Chinese New Year Shopping Festival'. The original starting price for the Chinese mainland version of the iPhone Air is set at 7,999 yuan. However, through the use of coupons and national subsidies, the final price can be reduced to a mere 5,499 yuan (this offer is limited to the first 13,000 units). Additionally, JD.com's self-operated flagship store for Apple products is also rolling out promotional deals. After factoring in coupons, national subsidies, and trade-in allowances, customers can snag the iPhone Air for as little as 5,099 yuan, with the added convenience of 12-month interest-free installment plans.
