Based on information from supply chain news outlet DigiTimes, Apple has set its sights on upgrading the display technology of several key products, specifically transitioning them to OLED screens. This shift will encompass the iPad mini, MacBook Pro, iPad Air, iMac, and MacBook Air, with the transition period slated for between 2026 and 2028. Previously, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman had, on multiple occasions, hinted that the iPad mini and MacBook Pro are likely to be the pioneers in adopting OLED displays this year. Meanwhile, he also mentioned that the OLED iteration of the MacBook Air is not expected to make its debut until after 2028.
