Industry analyst Jeff Pu revealed in his latest investor report that Apple plans to release its first foldable iPhone Fold in September 2026, along with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. These three high-end models will be powered by the A20 Pro chip manufactured using TSMC's 2nm process. The standard iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e will be delayed until spring 2027, marking Apple's adoption of a new staggered release strategy.
