On January 14, IDC unveiled a report revealing that in the fourth quarter of 2025, the Chinese smartphone market witnessed shipments of roughly 75.78 million units. This figure marked a marginal 0.8% year-on-year decline. For the entire year, shipments hovered around 285 million units, experiencing a 0.6% year-on-year drop. The top five smartphone brands for the year were Huawei, Apple, vivo, Xiaomi, and OPPO. Huawei emerged as the market leader, commanding a 16.4% market share. Meanwhile, Honor dropped out of the top-five rankings.
