On January 15, according to the latest research from Omdia, the total number of smartphone shipments in China's mainland market for the year 2025 is forecasted to hit 282.3 million units, marking a 1% year-on-year downturn. Within this landscape, Huawei has reclaimed its position at the forefront of the market, with shipments totaling 46.8 million units and securing a 17% market share. Vivo trailed closely behind, shipping 46 million units and holding a 16% market share. Apple, benefiting from its robust performance in the fourth quarter, recorded annual shipments of 45.9 million units, placing it in third place. Xiaomi and OPPO occupied the fourth and fifth spots, with shipments of 43.7 million units and 42.8 million units, respectively.
