On January 7th, TCL Industries, in collaboration with TCL Technology, made a significant impact at CES 2026. Their booth, sprawling across 2,453 square meters, has consistently been the largest Chinese brand presence at the event in terms of exhibition scale for several years running. During the exhibition, TCL marked its North American debut of the TCL X11L SQD-Mini LED TV and also showcased the world's inaugural printed OLED screen designed for vehicles. The construction of TCL's high-generation printed OLED production line, known as the t8 project and operated by its subsidiary CSOT, commenced in October of the previous year. Additionally, Thunderbird Innovation, another subsidiary of TCL, unveiled the Thunderbird X3 Pro Project eSIM globally—a consumer-grade AR glasses solution boasting independent communication capabilities. This innovative product secured a 24% market share in the global AR glasses sector during the third quarter of 2025 and claimed the top spot in global shipments for two consecutive quarters. From 2019 to 2024, TCL's cumulative investment in research and development (R&D) surpassed 60 billion yuan. By November of the previous year, the company had accumulated a total of 119,352 patents. TCL holds the second position in North America for TV shipments and has established an R&D center in Silicon Valley, USA, along with a manufacturing base in Mexico.
