Apple has recently officially confirmed that the 14-inch MacBook Pro, powered by the M5 chip, boasts a battery design that is significantly easier to remove. The tech giant has also incorporated the battery of this particular model into its official self-service repair initiative, along with the release of a comprehensive operation manual. Earlier teardown analyses had suggested that swapping out the battery in the new model doesn't necessitate the prior removal of components like the trackpad. Now, this modification has received formal acknowledgment from Apple's official documentation. Additionally, the self-service repair store has commenced the provision of pertinent parts and tools for this purpose.
