At the 2025 Xiaomi Human-Vehicle-Home Full Ecosystem Partner Conference, Lu Weibing, Partner and President of Xiaomi Group, delivered a keynote speech entitled "Together on the Journey, Powering the Future", sharing the latest achievements in Xiaomi’s software and hardware ecosystem.
In the software ecosystem sphere, Xiaomi boasts a global community of 1.2 million software developers, with a domestic monthly software distribution volume exceeding 1.1 billion across all platforms. The ecosystem also enjoys a robust user base, with 18 million paying game users and 13 million subscribers to content and service offerings.
Turning to the hardware ecosystem, Xiaomi reports a staggering 742 million monthly active users worldwide, marking an 8.2% year-on-year increase. The global tally of connected IoT devices (excluding smartphones and similar gadgets) has soared to 1.04 billion, reflecting a 20.2% annual surge. Xiaomi has also forged partnerships with over 15,000 hardware companies globally.
Furthermore, the openvela open-source ecosystem is experiencing rapid growth, with over 100 international partners. This ecosystem now powers more than 1,500 product categories and equips over 160 million devices. Notably, the ecosystem’s reach has, for the first time, extended from IoT chips to automotive MCUs, marking a significant expansion in its technological footprint.
