In April of this year, the National Radio and Television Administration launched the rollout of tens of millions of ultra-high-definition, plug-and-play mini set-top boxes. The primary goal of this initiative is to streamline operational processes and elevate the overall user experience. This particular set-top box is notably compact and can be effortlessly connected to a television's HDMI port, providing support for 4K ultra-high-definition services. It is equipped with a versatile tri-mode universal remote control, facilitating one-click operation for ultimate convenience.
According to CCTV News, to date, the China Broadcasting Network has successfully introduced over 150,000 ultra-high-definition plug-and-play mini set-top boxes, along with their corresponding universal remote controls, in the Beijing area.
