US-based company Alef Aeronautics has unveiled that its inaugural electric flying car, the Model A, is on the verge of being delivered to customers. The development journey of this groundbreaking flying car spanned over a decade, culminating in a price point of approximately 300,000 US dollars (equivalent to roughly 2.17 million yuan). In February 2025, the Model A achieved a significant milestone by successfully completing a test flight on public roads, showcasing its capabilities in vertical takeoff and landing, obstacle navigation, and other agile maneuvers. At present, the Model A has already garnered 3,300 pre-orders and is anticipated to commence mass production and subsequent deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2025. Furthermore, Alef Aeronautics is also diligently working on its second flying car model, the Model Z, which is projected to make its debut in 2035.
