On December 5, 2025, Wei Chang, the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Midea Group, took the stage at the 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area New Economy Development Forum and the 21st Century Technology Annual Conference to introduce the world to 'MIRO U'—a groundbreaking superhumanoid robot. As the first six-arm wheeled-legged humanoid robot in the industry, MIRO U is built on the technological premise of 'transcending human physiological constraints in operational capabilities.'

This marvel of engineering boasts stable lifting capabilities, the ability to rotate 360 degrees on the spot, and precise, agile control over its six bionic mechanical arms. The actuator ends are designed for swift module switching, creating a multi-dimensional collaborative operation system that promises unparalleled efficiency. By the end of 2025, MIRO U will make its way to the Wuxi Shuanggao-end Washing Machine Factory, where it will significantly enhance production line efficiency. Anticipated improvements include a notable boost in production line cycle efficiency and a 30% surge in the efficiency of production line changeover adjustments, marking a new era in industrial automation.
