The research report released by the China International Capital Corporation (CICC) highlights that, given the colossal operation and maintenance demands in China's infrastructure market, drones are forging a new ecosystem for engineering operation and maintenance services. These aerial devices enable automated inspections of power grids, address the challenges associated with high-risk inspections along railways and highways, facilitate intelligent monitoring of energy pipelines, and ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of telecommunications base stations. By overcoming the spatial constraints and efficiency bottlenecks inherent in traditional infrastructure inspections, drones significantly reduce labor costs and safety risks, thereby advancing the intelligentization of infrastructure operation and maintenance. It is, therefore, prudent to keep an eye on the investment opportunities emerging from the collaborative development of the low-altitude economy and infrastructure construction.
