Recently, during an institutional research visit, BOE A shared insights into the LCD market. They noted that TV products have witnessed an earlier-than-usual surge in demand, thanks to national subsidies and export-boosting policies. Consequently, the traditional ebb and flow between off-peak and peak seasons have been less distinct this year, with forecasts indicating growth in both the volume and area of shipments throughout the year. However, the shift towards larger screen sizes has seen a temporary slowdown, influenced by a surge in small- and medium-sized TV product shipments in emerging markets. On the flip side, IT products are poised for a significant uptick in shipment volume over the course of the year, driven by robust demand for device upgrades. Meanwhile, monitor (MNT) product shipments are expected to remain relatively stable on a year-on-year basis.
