According to the announcement, China Mobile's 4G and 5G networks have successfully established comprehensive coverage throughout both urban and rural regions of Zhejiang Province. In an effort to streamline resources and elevate the quality of services offered, the company will proceed with the gradual decommissioning of the 2G network. The specific shutdown process will be carried out in a phased manner, taking into account the unique conditions of each region. Consequently, devices, tariff packages, and SIM cards that are exclusively compatible with the 2G network will become obsolete.
