Recently, Foxconn, Apple's main contract manufacturer, has brought nearly all iPhone Air production lines to a standstill. This move signals that Apple's foray into the realm of "ultra-thin and lightweight flagship" smartphones has hit a snag. According to The Information, which cited three internal sources, Foxconn has now ceased the majority of iPhone Air assembly operations, maintaining just one fully operational production line and a half-line as a transitional measure, with a complete shutdown anticipated by the end of November. Meanwhile, Luxshare Precision, another assembler involved, wrapped up its final batch of orders and shut down its production lines at the close of October.
