On the evening of November 13, Zhu Mingming, the founder and CEO of Rokid, disclosed that the company has set a sales goal of exceeding one million units for its glasses products in the upcoming year. This target, which is grounded in this year's sales achievements, is not excessively ambitious. Back in September of this year, Rokid encountered challenges due to insufficient production capacity. To keep up with the high demand, its supply chain had to switch to a three - shift operation pattern. This time around, Rokid has teamed up with BOLON to roll out the new 'BOLON AI Smart Glasses'. Starting at 2199 yuan, these glasses come in a wide array of styles and color choices. This product belongs to the same category as Ray - Ban Meta's AI camera glasses. It is equipped with a dedicated chip, a camera, and an in - built battery, offering a decent amount of battery life. Previously, Rokid's Leqi glasses, which feature display functionality, made a remarkable splash. Within just five days of their launch, they managed to sell 40,000 units across all sales channels, dominating the sales charts across the entire internet. The cumulative usage count has surpassed 15 million times, and on average, each unit is worn for nearly 8 hours per day. Looking ahead, Rokid's Leqi glasses will keep evolving and will be upgraded to support an even wider range of features.
