Samsung Electronics is poised to introduce the world's inaugural Android-based tri-fold smartphone, the Galaxy Z TriFold, in South Korea on December 5. The anticipated price for this cutting-edge device is set between 3 million and 4 million won (roughly equivalent to 14,500 to 19,300 yuan). The Galaxy Z TriFold boasts a unique, bidirectional inward-folding G-shaped configuration, which, when fully extended, reveals a sprawling 10-inch display. Under the hood, it packs a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a high-resolution 200-megapixel primary camera, and a trio of independent batteries that collectively offer a capacity exceeding 5,000mAh. Upon its initial release, the smartphone will be made available in a limited run (ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 units) across select markets, including China and South Korea.
