DJI is on the verge of launching a groundbreaking first-person-view (FPV) drone, internally codenamed Avata 360. This eagerly anticipated device is slated to make its market debut between November and December 2025, with the standard package starting at an estimated $1,099 (roughly equivalent to 7,825 Chinese yuan).

The Avata 360 is poised to go head-to-head with Insta360's Antigravity A1, promising a fierce competition in the FPV drone arena. One of its standout features is its compact and lightweight design, making it an ideal choice for drone enthusiasts who value portability and ease of use.

When it comes to imaging capabilities, the Avata 360 truly shines. It boasts a 360-degree panoramic camera mounted on a rotatable gimbal, ensuring smooth and stable footage while providing the flexibility to capture shots from various angles. This drone supports recording of stunning 8K 50fps panoramic videos and taking 120-megapixel panoramic photos. Moreover, it incorporates a 10-bit D-Log M color mode, enhancing the color depth and overall image quality.

In terms of battery performance, the Avata 360 does not disappoint. With continuous recording at 8K 30fps, users can expect a flight time ranging from 25 to 32 minutes, providing ample time to capture breathtaking aerial footage.

DJI has also devised a strategic pricing approach for the Avata 360. The standard package will be priced between $1,099 and $1,299, catering to a wide range of budgets. Additionally, DJI will offer several combo packages, including the 'Fly More Combo,' 'Creator Combo,' and 'Enterprise Combo.' The highest-priced package is expected to reach up to $1,899, offering a comprehensive set of accessories and features for professional users.
