A tech blogger recently shared cumulative activated sales figures for several smartphone brands up to Week 44 (November 2nd), using code names for anonymity. After some calculations, it became clear that the series referred to as "Series A" is actually the Xiaomi 17 series, which made its debut on September 27th. Remarkably, within just 37 days of its launch, the Xiaomi 17 series has racked up approximately 2.021 million cumulative activated units. In fact, by October, real-time activated sales had already soared past the 2 million mark.
The Xiaomi 17 series is packed with standout features and had the advantage of a well-timed release. It set a new benchmark for domestic smartphone first-day sales in 2025, achieving this feat within a mere 5 minutes of going on sale. Impressively, the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max model alone shattered this year's first-day sales record, contributing to over 50% of the total sales volume.
In comparison, the series known as "Series B" corresponds to the vivo X300 series, which launched on October 17th and accumulated around 488,000 activated units in 17 days. "Series C" is identified as the OPPO Find X9 series, launched on October 22nd, with approximately 356,000 cumulative activated units in 12 days. Lastly, "Series D" represents the Honor Magic 8 series, which hit the market on October 23rd and reached roughly 197,000 cumulative activated units in 11 days.
