The web-based iteration of the Microsoft Store has recently introduced a 'bulk installation' functionality. This innovative feature empowers users to install a maximum of 16 apps simultaneously, streamlining the process of setting up frequently used software on new devices or following system resets.

To take advantage of this feature, users simply need to navigate to the Microsoft Store website, click on the 'Bulk Install Apps' button, and then access the supported list page. From there, they can tick the boxes next to the desired apps and click 'Install Selected Apps'. Subsequently, the browser will download an .exe installation file. Upon running this file, the program automatically triggers the Microsoft Store client to sequentially download and install the chosen apps in the background, eliminating the need for any manual input. At present, this functionality is exclusively accessible through the web version. Moreover, app selection is restricted to 64 widely-used apps from an officially curated list.
