During the third quarter of 2025, China witnessed a remarkable surge in the online sales of smart door locks. The sales volume soared to 1.43 million units, marking a significant 15.4% year-on-year increase. The total sales amount also climbed, reaching RMB 1.34 billion, a 19% jump from the previous year. The average price per unit in the online market rose to RMB 933, reflecting a 3.1% year-on-year uptick.

Notably, the top four brands—Xiaomi, Dessmann, Haier, and Kaadas—dominated the market, jointly accounting for 51% of the sales share. This represents an impressive 8.4 percentage point increase compared to the previous year. In the first half of 2025, Xiaomi emerged as the leader in online sales, boasting a market share that surpassed 20%. Given this strong momentum, it appears well-positioned to clinch the annual online sales championship for the year.

In the third quarter, Xiaomi further solidified its position by introducing the Xiaomi Smart Door Lock 4 Pro. Priced at RMB 2,499, this cutting-edge product offers an impressive array of 12 unlocking methods, catering to a wide range of consumer preferences and needs.
