Recently, AMD made an error in the driver update log for version 25.10.2. Contrary to what was initially stated, it did not, in fact, disable the power - supplying ability of the USB - C port on the reference RX 7900 series graphics cards. This port continues to offer support for DP 2.1 video output and can deliver a 30W power supply in line with the PD 3.0 standard. AMD has since rectified the mistake in the update log and extended an apology. Through rigorous testing, it has been verified that the port functions normally. The previous reports led to misunderstandings, which stemmed from incorrect interpretations of the update log.
