On November 1, news surfaced that during a Friday interview on the Joe Rogan podcast, Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, disclosed that the company could potentially unveil a flying car by the close of 2025. When questioned about the numerous delays plaguing the all-new Roadster sports car, Musk responded that the prototype demonstration was almost finalized. He recounted how his friend, Peter Thiel, had once expressed disappointment that the future, as envisioned, should have included flying cars, yet this vision remained unrealized. Musk quipped that since Peter desired a flying car, Tesla would make it a reality and available for purchase.
Musk described the forthcoming (flying) car as incorporating 'groundbreaking technology' and vowed that its reveal would be 'truly unforgettable.' He further drew parallels between the car's innovative features and the ingenuity found in James Bond vehicles, asserting that even if one were to amalgamate the creativity of all James Bond cars, this new vehicle would still eclipse them in terms of its audacity and uniqueness.
