Microsoft has unveiled that Windows 11 will incorporate an 'Active Memory Diagnostic' tool, designed to assist users in swiftly diagnosing system malfunctions like blue screens, black screens, and crashes stemming from memory-related problems, thereby bolstering system stability. In the event of an error check (an unplanned restart) on the computer, the system will prompt the user to perform a rapid memory scan upon logging in. Once the user opts to proceed, the system will initiate a memory diagnostic during the subsequent reboot, with the entire process anticipated to last no more than 5 minutes. Should any issues be detected, the system will endeavor to rectify them and inform the user accordingly. Presently, this functionality is exclusively accessible on personal computers with x86 architecture and is not compatible with devices utilizing ARM architecture. Moreover, devices that have BitLocker encryption activated or lack secure boot functionality are unable to utilize this feature.
